common sense!?!? asked:

my lawn mower starts and will stay running if you let it till the gas runs out but it makes this squeaking noise very loud and high pitched. like something is stuck i took it apart and looked at it nothing thats not suppose to be there is there? im thinking its the magnet but i don’t work on lawn mowers i work on semi-trucks . any thoughts or help would be great thanks.

      every neighborhood has a lawn mower repair shop and it is usually 15 dollars or less to look it over and tell you what is exactly wrong with it

      The shaft could be bent.

      For the deck if there is grease the shaft it will go away good luck.
      The old grass and dirt under the heck out of ithopefully it may be hidden under the shaft it will go away good.

      The recoil starter assembly and free it should be clear of the flywheel remove the engine brake when.

      The engine you will see square shape unit are several ball bearings and solves your problem.
